Ridgewood, NJ is home to many excellent schools for both K-12 and higher education. The public school system in Ridgewood consists of five elementary schools, three middle schools, two high schools and several specialty centers. These schools are highly rated for their academic excellence; in fact, most have been recognized as National Blue Ribbon Schools of Excellence by the U.S. Department of Education. Higher education options include Bergen Community College, Fairleigh Dickinson University and Seton Hall University all located within close proximity to the town of Ridgewood.
