Ive lived in Little Rock for 42 years. Cost of living is cheap here! I rent a 3 BR 1,100 sq Ft townhouse with 30 Ft ceilings and a garage for $650 a month. Everyone talks about the high crime rate. People should realize that you can greatly reduce and even nearly eliminate your chances of becoming a victim of a crime. First, violent crime is almost always the result of a previous altercation. Simply minding your business and being respectful to others along with avoiding particularly dangerous areas will greatly reduce your chances of being a victim of violent crime. Property crime is a little different but certain measures can be taken to reduce your chances of being a victim of property crime as well. Theives are low lifes who operate without boundaries. Meaning a person in poverty is just as likly to become a victim as someone who earns a 7 digit salary. First, people lock your damn doors.
