Terrible place. Drug addicts everywhere. If you walk anywhere you will probably be propositioned for sex because the town is full of prostitutes. You have to lock down everything or it will be stolen. Syringes, cutoff straws and sex toys on the ground when you get out of your car at stores and when you take walks, even at Indian Mountain State Park on the trails and by fishing spots, I know because I've seen it. Packs of dogs that roam around and kill anything small that moves and run through your yard tearing up plants and getting into trash. Police department is a joke also, last call I had to make they never even showed up. They also didn't have a fire truck for a while, who knows if they would even come if they were called. Drainage is a joke, waterways must not be maintained and kept clear of debris because flooding is a problem. No jobs at all and the good city positions are obviously filled by people who really don't care about the town. There are so many better places to take your family, if you were thinking about bringing them to Jellico please don't.
