I agree. I have lived in Clermont-Minneola for 3.5 years. We fell in love with the rolling hills and beautiful lakes. 3 years later, we still love the hills and lakes. We drove into Clermont in 2019 and saw all the new construction, new businesses, new homes and everything was still clean and being taken care of. We love downtown on Lake Minneola, the restaurants and shops. We love Waterfront Park and the sandy beach and piers. We love the food trucks, ice cream, snow cones. The town is beautiful and has plenty of restaurants of all types of cuisines. People are friendly, all my neighbors wave when they drive by. The two drawbacks to Clermont is that its growing, so there are not enough roads for all the new people. The second drawback has more to do with Florida in general, lots of bugs, heat and humidity. Clermont is 40 minutes to the Orlando Airport, 30 mins to Universal, 40 minutes to Sea World, 40 mins to Disney and about 1hour 20 minutes to the beach. Its a great location and far enough inland to not worry too much about the effects from hurricanes.
