Infrastructure not supporting growth

Canton is located north of Atlanta so location is good but one has to bear the traffic to get anywhere. I have lived in Canton for 13 years and frustrated with the traffic and the lack of infrastructure to keep up with the growth. The main highway is being re-constructed and widened and has had a large shopping area added at the interstate. A large hospital is also in the works. This is causing traffic nightmares. I have run out of patience, and blame the very poor planning. Can't see what they are working on will support it when all is said and done.
Guess I need a change because finding the ten commandments posted at the courthouse does not support the various religions here in Canton; assuming everyone is Protestant. (A clerk at a local grocery store asked me what church I go to and was shocked.)
Need more recreation and parks; and if you have any allergies such as pollen, this won't be for you, though the many trees and wildlife can be enjoyable. Canton can also be in the path of tornadoes.
I find the taxes rather high as compared to other areas outside the metro Atlanta area.
Not totally unhappy but think I can find a better area, maybe a better state to retire to.
Maybe I need a change?
